I was having trouble getting interviews with all of the applications I was putting out. YES updated my resume and let me know the strategy behind how employers find viable candidates through the words that you use in the resume. I was being more thorough in reaching out to people and asking for informational interviews after working with Michael. I thought the whole team was integral to my success.
Dir. Brand Management
A couple of months after I had my resume and cover letter completed by YES, I had two job offers from which I had a chance to choose one. Thanks to Katherine and all the supporting team at YES.
Research, Design and Development Mgr.
I contacted YES to rewrite my resume with a project manager focus, which would better reflect the work I was doing. My history had been finance focused, and I wanted my resume to be project management focused. The biggest thing YES did that helped me was to recognize some of my previous work that was pertinent to project management positions but not necessarily in an obvious way. I highly recommend YES.

San Antonio is situated at the headwaters of the San Antonio River on the Balcones Escarpment, about 80 miles southwest of Austin. San Antonio was founded May 1, 1718, when a Spanish expedition from Mexico established the Mission San Antonio de Valero. The mission, later called the Alamo, was one of five founded in the area and was named for St. Anthony of Padua. During the last decades of the 19th century, San Antonio, as the starting point for the Chisholm Trail, became a major cattle center, where herds were assembled for the overland drives to the railheads in Kansas. The city quickly became the commercial hub of the Southwest. The arrival of the first railroad in 1877 brought migrants from the American South, and Mexican immigrants settled there after the start of the Mexican Revolution in 1910. San Antonio was a major military center during World Wars I and II, a factor that continued to dominate its economy in subsequent decades.
San Antonio’s character is a colorful blend of Mexican and Texan culture. It is 150 miles from the Mexican border at Laredo, on one of the most-traveled routes to Mexico. Much of its population is of Hispanic (mainly Mexican) descent, and many are Spanish-speaking or bilingual. It preserves much of its historical atmosphere and embraces its cultural diversity. Remains of 18th-century Spanish structures dot the city, contrasting with modern office buildings.
The River Walk, or Paseo del Rio, is San Antonio’s outdoor centerpiece. Winding through the downtown area, its landscaped banks are lined with shops and restaurants. Other historic sites include the famous Alamo, the reconstructed Spanish Governor’s Palace, and La Villita. The Alamo, the four missions in the national historic park, and the Rancho de las Cabras to the southeast in Floresville were collectively designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2015.
In addition to the military, major components of San Antonio’s economy are education, health care and medical research, business and financial services, and—most importantly—tourism.

Most recruiters spend little time looking at your resume and cover letter before deciding if it will be considered for an interview. You have little to no margin for error in terms of what information should grab their attention. In that sense, hiring a professional resume writer in San Antonio is one of the best investments you can make for your career.
You should start by consulting with a professional career coaching company with resume services to get clarity about what you are looking for in a new job. The next step would be to learn from your career coach on how to do some market research and networking with companies that fit your criteria. Since many best paying jobs are not even advertised, clients of YES Career Coaching and Resume Writing Services use these techniques to get in front of hiring managers, in many cases before they have even formally applied for a position.
If you are getting interviews, employers find you technically qualified for the positions they are trying to fill. However, employers use three dimensions (head, heart, and briefcase) to determine that you are a good fit for their company. Briefcase is your resume, the head is your behavioral assessment and the heart, which is the most complicated one, consists of your beliefs, attitude and culture fit. Obviously, you must be doing a good job with answering technical interview questions but the interviewers are not falling in love with you. To overcome that challenge you need to master new interview skills that build strong rapport and forms strong chemistry with the interviewers. We recommend you schedule your free consultation at YES Career Coaching & Resume Writing Services to learn more about our proprietary interview technique that ensures you will not leave the interview until you have discovered all the interviewer's objection and have used the technique, so they have overcome their own objections about you. We are well-versed in San Antonio professional resume writing services and have created the best resume writing service available.
The best way to find out if a professional resume writing service can help you is to have a free consultation with the company. Most top resume writing companies also have comprehensive reviews by their clients, and you want to review those reviews thoroughly. Ask for sample resumes, but don’t fall for fancy looks of their resume. Hiring managers are looking for resumes and social profiles that reflect your accomplishments and what you can do for them, but not necessarily how pretty it looks.
As stated above, start with a free consultation, and make sure you understand the process the professional resume writing service companies are using to develop your resume. Ask about the timeline and the type of guarantees they offer. To learn the details of how to hire the best San Antonio resume writing services study this article which describes the exact criteria to use during your research.
